# What are you grateful for?
At any moment, even if you're dealing with something difficult, you can find some connection to the nourishing feeling of gratitude.
You might feel gratitude for something that happened,
or something that stopped happening;
for someone who showed up in your life,
or someone who left.
Wherever you might feel its warmth in your body,
however strong or subtle the feeling,
gratitude will grow as you place your awareness on it.
Gratitude can help you stay strong in challenging situations;
it can soothe you during inner explorations;
it can bring richness in moments of rest.
Just a few minutes of gratitude practice each day--simply saying out loud what you're grateful for, and feeling it in your body--will make a world of difference over a lifetime. And doing this with a friend or other loved one will help your relationship thrive.
