Actually there is no other kind: Californian-style “tantra” does none of the necessary root-chakra stabilisation work (i.e. the icky work of dealing with death) before it moves on to the “fun” sexuality stuff. - But that stuff does absolutely nothing of spiritual value if the death work is not performed first, because unconscious fears around death will result in permanent addiction to sensuality, rather than a passage through and beyond sensuality, eventually towards immortality.
