If you take nothing else away from this: It's so important to have a teacher.
___
May my heart turn to practice
May practice become a path
May this path dissolve confusion
May confusion become wisdom
---
Knowing there is nothing outside or inside to free me
I seek sanctuary in Buddha
Knowing that experience and awareness are not two
I seek sanctuary in Dharma
Knowing there is nothing to grasp or oppose
I seek sanctuary in Sangha
---
Beings are numberless; may I free them all
Reactions are endless; may I release them all
Doors to experience are infinite; may I enter them all
Ways of awakening are limitless; may I know them all
___
The more aware you become, the less control you have
The illusion of control is an indication of lack of freedom
A translation for Dharma: holding
Fascinating pairing with tanha as clinging
Dharma as a unit of experience

"not good, not bad, keep going"
The key part of Tantra is to make use of the reactive process to wake up
Pay close attention to what is happening in you when you read the sutra
One of the most common mistakes is to hear about the result of practice and take it to be practice instruction. To wit: “You can’t practice the result.”
Waking up doesn’t solve any problems! 😂🫠
Don’t try to conceptualize your experience
Some things cannot be understood, they can only be known
